Today is “A human rights day” in AzerbaijanToday is “A human rights day” in Azerbaijan. In June 18, 1998 HeydarAliyev certified “state programme on protection of human rights”. Taking into account the acceptance of the programme and the guarantee of human rights being one of the mainstreams of state policy, President Ilham Aliyev issued a command in June 18, 1997 to mark this day as “A human rights day”.
