"For a long and lasting peace in the region, the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan must be resolved as soon as possible within the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan."

The meeting of the Azerbaijani parliamentary committee on legislative and legal policy, held on Oct. 5, recommended to discuss the bill "On receipt of information regarding the courts" in the Parliament.

The Azerbaijani Parliamentary Legislation and Legal Policy Committee recommended considering the amendments and changes to the law on "Prosecutor's Office".

“The regulation of the Karabakh conflict cannot be organized without taking the thought of the Nagorno Karabakh population into consideration.”

The booklets and DVDs which were disseminated in the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly, made the Azerbaijani delegation in the body feel dissatisfaction.

“There is serious need to hold dialogues on certain issues between journalists and officials. Initially, we have to define the preparedness of the journalists to defamation. I think after that it is possible to pass a bill “About defamation” for public discussion and come to a certain agreement.”

About 136 people were made answerable for facts of corruption in Azerbijan over nine months of 2009.

The European Court of Human Rights has passed two resolutions on Azerbaijan. The resolutions were passed on complaints by the Azerbaijan Public Association for the Nature Protection and Rahib Maksimov - Chingiz Askerov.
