Nuriyev Alimammad - a member of the Joint Working Group Mr. Nuriyev has graduated from the law faculty of Baku State University. During his membership in the Bar Association, he has worked as an advocate. He has also been a national movement activist. Mr. Nuriyev worked in the capacity of a department director in the Executive Office of the President of the Azerbaijan Republic in 1992, and then he has taught in law faculties of several universities. From the first half of 1990, he has taken important step in the creation and activities of non-governmental organisations.

Mr. Nuriyev was elected the deputy of the National Assembly (Parliament) in 2001. At that time, he has participated in different international conferences and has represented both Azerbaijan and several NGOs. He has taken an active part in the creation of the Research Foundation “Constitution” in 2003 and now he is the president that NGO. Moreover, he is the member of the Council of State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
