Members of the Swedish Azerbaijanis Congress met with the Swedish parliamentarians, who visited the occupied Nagorno Karabakh region in 2006 not informing the Azerbaijani government.

The Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group (Ambassadors Bernard Fassier of France, Robert Bradtke of the United States, and Igor Popov of the Russian Federation) and Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk (Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office) traveled November 28-30 to Yerevan and Baku, says the statement of OSCE published on the website of the organization.

Azerbaijan does not expect anything new from the upcoming visit of the OSCE Minsk Group to the region.

“The important point in the current process of the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict is to reach agreement on six basic principles and after that to proceed to the discussion of the details”, Sabine Freizer, Europe Program Director, International Crisis Group, said in her interview with Armenia’s Zhamanak newspaper.

Monitoring will be held on the contact line between Armenian and Azerbaijani armed forces near the Tapgaragoyunlu village in the Goranboy region on Nov.17, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said.

Today is the 18th anniversary of the occupation of Azerbaijan's regions of Fizuli and Jabrail by the Armenian armed forces.

The process around Nagorno- arabakh has intensified and one can expect quick results.

“It is possible to construct an airport in Nagorno Karabakh, but it is practically impossible for it to operate as an international airport”, said GUAM Secretary General Valeri Chechelashvili.

“I feel that there is some progress in the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict”.

“The Ombudsperson will control the implementation of the right of obtaining information, conditions for the implementation of the law on obtaining information and will do all efforts that everyone can benefit from this law”, Ombudsperson of Azerbaijan Elmira Suleymanova told journalists, reports.
