6826 crimes have been recorded within 4 months of 2009 in Azerbaijan, the State Statistics Committee informed APA. The report says that according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 6826 crimes were committed within 4 months of 2009, that is, 78 facts of crime for every 100 thousand people. 89.2 % of the committed crimes are of law gravity, as well as the crimes not posing great public danger. 2845 people were injured as a result of the committed crimes. It is also reported that 4203 of 5198 offenders were brought to criminal liability in January-April of this year. 83.1% of the detainees are able-bodied persons, but none of them is employed orstudies in any place; 9.9% are the persons who have formerly committed crimes; 11.9% are women and 2,2% are the juveniles of 14-17-year age.
