The fact that a group of youth were detained during the action as a protest to the entrance fee increase in metro stations was investigated on a commission from the Azerbaijani Ombudsman. According to the notification received from the Ombudsman by Trend News, the employees of the Ombubsman have been in the police statiations 26, 27 of the Police Department of Yasamal district, have meet the detained youth seperately.

It became known that, five people are detained in the police statiations 26 and six people are detained in the police statiations 27. Some of the youth have notified that, they had been subjected to physical violance by policemen.

With regard to this problem, the Ombudsman Elmira Suleymanova has contacted the chieves of those police stations and the authority of the Police Department of Yasamal district and district court and has addressed to them concerning the solution of their problem without penalty and to discharge them. Under the judgement of the court of Yasamal district, three young people have paid 20 manats fine and the others have been set free by giving a caution.
