The OSCE Baku Office held a workshop on election observation for the regional representatives of political parties in the town of Sheki. 25 representatives of 9 political parties functioning in the Sheki and Oghuz regions, as well as executive power officials took part at the seminar.

Head of the OSCE Baku Office Bilge Cankorel addressed the participants. Then, head of the Organization`s democratization department Jacqueline Carpenter made report on OSCE`s election obligations.

So far, the OSCE Baku Office has conducted seminars in Baku, Sumgait, Ganja, Tovuz, Barda and Zagatala regions. The next seminars will be conducted in Lankaran and Gusar regions.
