The employees of Ombudsman have viewed the prison number 12 under the Ministry of Justice Penitentiary Service located in Nardaran settlement. The press service of Ombudsman notified it to APA. According to the information, the enployees have been, as well as, to the Baku Investigation Isalator, the detention centre of the police department of Khatayi district, and the police station number 36 of the same police department and the police station number 25 under the police department of Nizami district.

During the meetng with the people who were detained in the Baku Investigation Isalator, they have not complained of the treatment of the workers in the institution and the condition of detainment, some of the suspects have stated their displeasure about the investigation and verdict of the court related to them. The employees of Ombudsman have met Emin Milli and Adnan Hadjizada as well, who were detained in the pre-trial prison. They pointed out that, the court process regarding them had been prolonged.

According to the information, S.A who is detained by the Head Institution for Fight against Drugs in the Baku Investigation Isalator, was beaten by policemen on October 24, 2009. With an aim to investigate that matter, the Ombudsman has applied to the prosecutor general, the minister of home affaires of the Republic, and requested to conduct a pressing expert examination of forensic medicine about S.A and to file the accused.
