Ago Monitoring Group to visit Azerbaijan, November 23-26Ago Monitoring Group of the Council of Europe Committee of Ministers will visit Azerbaijan on November 23-26, Information Office of the Council of Europe told APA. The aim of the visit is to assess Azerbaijan’s fulfilling the commitments vis-à-vis the Council of Europe.

Members of the Ago Group will meet with President Ilham Aliyev, speaker of the parliament Ogtay Asadov, leadership of Justice Ministry, Foreign Ministry, Interior Ministry, Supreme Court, Central Election Commission, leading opposition parties, nongovernmental organizations, and media outlets.

The Group members also plan to meet the ambassadors of the Council of Europe countries to Azerbaijan.
