The US President George Bush congratulated Ilham Aliyev on his reelection as the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Bush expressed his best wishes to the Head of State, President’s Press Service informed to Lent.az: “We will do our best to deepen bilateral fraternal and partnership relations between two countries in the following months. We hope for progress in the field of energy security and achievement of agreement on core principles for the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict. We support Azerbaijan’s efforts directed in strengthening democratic institutions. I hope for further continuation of our cooperation and wish peace and successes to Azerbaijan.”
