The conference is being held in accordance with the decision passed by the Presidium of All-Russia Azerbaijan Congress on “Summoning the 3rd conference of All-Russia Azerbaijan Congress”. 130 representatives from 72 regions of the Russian Federation have been elected for the conference.

Senior officials of Azerbaijan and Russia, Azerbaijani scientists, public figures, businessmen living in Russia and media representatives are attending the conference. Head of the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan Republic Ramiz Mehdiyev, chiefs of departments of the Presidential Administration Zeynal Nagdaliyev, Ali Hasanov, chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora Nazim Ibrahimov, head of the Russian community in Azerbaijan, MP Mikhail Zabelin are also attending the conference.

All-Russia Azerbaijan Congress was founded in 2000. The Congress has implemented a number of successful projects serving the protection of the rights of the Azerbaijanis living in Russia, promotion of the rich cultural heritage of the Azerbaijani people, aiming to inform the world community about Azerbaijan’s truths.
